They already tried running acc without a salary manager for years is was Epic failure
All AP and EHS positions are up on the chopping block. Walmart has been looking at other businesses like Simmons. Who they have major contracts with and will most likely assume the same security companies used by Simmons foods. They make nine dollars an hour. Walmart has already dabbled in the use of said companies to guard the doors of facilities that have been closed like the old DC’s in Bentonville. Current AP/EHS will have to seek other roles in the company or can transition to which ever private security has taken their region over.
Who will take over the APASM duties? There's a LOT we don't realize that they have to do.
Well Service Managers already make Team Lead Pay. I could definitely see the ACC DM going Team Lead and ACCM being dissolved in the next 6 months. I'm hoping for a severance package.
The word on the street is ACCM is eliminated, GM splits to two coaches, Service Manager and ACC DM both become ACC TLs
Autocare assistant managers will have to apply for role when their position is absorbed into stocking coach role. The team lead role will be absorbed into the hardlines team lead role. Severance will be offered for anyone displaced.
