When I was cut a few years ago I was told that some people were being kept for this big super secret project? It was supposed to merge beverage and food systems and generate incredible cost savings. I heard people were being hand selected but I never heard anymore about it. So what happened? Was it done?

Frito and pepsi will be following the same rules shortly. We now have zone managers at pbc, just like frito. Our hr intern worked closely with fritos hr intern. This company is toxic. I am 53 and want, need to leave at 55. Lose a huge percentage in my 401 or resign and leave my job, payroll, desperate. I wish 31 years ago I just remained a temp like I was originally there for. This is like working in a forced labor camp.
I believe there was an announcement yesterday about admins they have until March
It is ongoing consolation- purchasing, AP, operations, global procurement all going, going gone… farmed out to India & Mexico. Following the same fate as IT, HR, sales support, payroll, etc.
F@ck the USA & American worker, they can pay less without benefits, PTO, vacation, healthcare, retirement to Indians and save all that $ to pad the pockets of the C-level (so called) leaders & executives. Disgusting

GBS is a different animal. They were supposed to combine frito and Pepsi and the KANs and sales reps outdoors sell in both eliminating many sales people. Haven’t heard that talk for a long time.
