Ever since Xerox took over GIS/XBS my work has been so much easier. I work in the warehouse. Before the takeover, local management expected me to go WAY above and beyond. Now, when those same managers ask me to do something, I say: 1. I no longer report to you, and 2. I can go work for Amazon making the same money without you hassling me.

No. The post is not a joke. The joke is in all these people who have been with Xerox for 10, 15, sometimes over 30 years. The joke is on you if you think your "loyalty" will get you anywhere.
I understand XBS warehouses are under local control. Buy we are no longer under the control of sales and service managers. I no longer answer to them. In fact, they can go f#$k themselves.
As far as Amazon---I only use this as an example. Warehouse jobs are a dime a dozen. In fact, Xerox knows this because they gave us raises a month ago.
Bottom line: Xerox needs us more than we need them.
And oh, by the way: Xerox is in a dying industry.
Post is a joke. XBS still runs their warehouse locations. Go work at Amazon. Then you can complain about working weekends and nought shifts.
Sounds like it’s time to send your useless ar-e to Amazon. Bon voyage.
I'm really sorry to hear that. I know you'll get something better. I'm fortunate enough to have a job that requires I'm PHYSICALLY here. Beat of luck to you.
I wish I could say that!!!
I bust my a-s doing the work of 3 people while looking for another job to get out of this hellhole
The joke of it is, that Xerox offshored all my coworkers jobs but the people offshore can't keep up, it takes 3 people offshore to do the job just one of my coworkers did and they all need overtime to get it done
It's such a freaking joke, Xerox doesn't want to pay the salaries of the competent onshore employee but they have no problem letting offshore accounts receivable write off $650,000 to $850,000 each month, yes EACH month.......
