I'm only paid for one of them. But it's not as if I have much of a choice - or anybody else who works at my store - until we can get some more people to join and stick around for more than a couple of weeks! This is getting ridiculous lately, we've never had this much trouble hiring. I can't even blame the management. They're trying to get the people we need we're just not getting anybody who plans to stick around.

Part-time jobs are not "stick-around" jobs in this current job environment. People take part-time jobs with no benefits as a last resort. If you were working full-time pre-Covid, part-time will not cover the bills. When new workers see so many people being cut and forced to take downsized positions from a company (people that have devoted their lives to that company), it is not hard to see why they don't "stick-around". In the past, you would take a part-time position in a company that you felt you had a future.
Also, if you are hourly, regardless of title, you are really just doing 1 job. You are an hourly employee. That is your job. You just do what your manager wants. Work hard and do a fair days work, but don't work so hard to ruin your health or injure yourself. It isn't worth it.
