I’m happy for all the people leaving. And I intend to leave very soon. However, in the meantime, when yet another colleague leaves, the feeling is terrible. I really don't intend to do any extra work anymore, and another colleague leaving means just that - more work.

Some Allstater’s take pride in skiing a good or exemplary job. Maybe they have too much pride. Allstate banked on that for years. Hired for it. That good ol baby boomer work ethic. It exists at all ages. Age doesn’t really matter. They do a relatively good job hiring your replacements with under 30 smart Americans. They won’t last as they are stand ins until India takes on mote and more work in 2022. Those that can leave this sewage canal, best of luck. The country is being rebuilt. There are a lot of jobs out there in all fields. Get out of insurance unless you are bonus level.
