Walmart is draining our cashier and night stock crews because the id--ts running this chicken sh-t outfit don't want to pay anything. Also: mo--n managers are offering new specialists $15 an hour (they wonder why they don't last long). Dimwits all across the board here. Corp, District and Store Managers. Quit hiring all these d-mb twits to run a store.

Haven't you figured it out yet? Marv want low paid bobble heads that can spout the corporate BS. I was in my old store the other day talking to an old fellow associate. She told me there were 12 people left out of the 120 associates working there when I was laydoff in 2019. I helped set the steel n the store when it was opened in 2006. The sales number steadily rose because we built up a loyal customer base during those years. I've been told that most of the familiar customer no longer come in there.
Corporate thinks that Lowe's high turnover rate is in line with the rest of the retail industry, that's the reason that no effort is made to enhance the work environment in the stores or employee benefits.
The drain is not limited to just the part-time staff any longer. In my area we are also losing our most knowledgeable specialists to other companies (not HD) that are competing against Lowe's in the same product space. Not only are we losing their talent but they will be working against us siphoning off customers that are looking for not only better quality but better SERVICE. My store has also experienced about a 25% turnover in ASM/DS staff as well over the past year or so. A few stayed with Lowe's but most left the company for better prospects.
Having this high of a turnover rate affects everyone left at the store. Workloads seem to have no bounds and just when you think it can't get any worse it does. Lowe's is rapidly turning into nothing more than an employment waypoint that one briefly experiences on their way to something better.
