The future is bleak. May the odds be ever in your favor.
I liked that the justification for 1% discretionary match was that oil will be low again at some point in the future and that we plan for the longterm. With this view we might as well just be honest and cut the program entirely.
if oil will be low again in the future shouldn’t you use high commodity prices to help reward staff while you can? Because we know in the next downturn there will be layoffs, frozen promotions, no merit. at least give the employees something while you can

Same as before. Wasted most of the hour with slides on what we did instead of answering the questions. TK did a great job of giving long drawn-out descriptions of past projects.
