The best way to reduce dividends is to buy back stock.

I'm not a Koch brother, but my sibling and I had interests in Enron back in the day.
I had stock and my sibling had bonds.
We both got kerfluffled.

Then of course the same thing again with AIG.
She had stock, and me the bonds.
Another million down the drain.

So - dividends - dividing the ends.
Begged, borrowed or stolen, there will be an end to it.

Thanks so much for giving up your 401k plan. I was able to continue eating at Lubys each week because of you.

Borrowed to pay! Best idea ever! Although I have a feeling that DW will retire once he is done with it.

Dividends are ultimately going to destroy xom. You sometimes hear about those odd ultra high dividend stocks that no one buys for various reasons. XOM will be one of them very soon.

dividend works really fine for folks that have tons of rsus - and you know who that is - our beloved c-level lineup. it's crazy that we had a 20 billion loss and we were borrowing money to pay dividends, that tells you everythig. anyhow, it's just a matter of time when they stop paying it - mark my words.
