Is it the same as when you joined or have things changed?

I love my job.
But the shitstorm going on around me is terrifying.
For me, it is a completely different company and I feel really blessed for the years where I experienced the old company, as it was the BEST culture I’d ever experienced in my life. It is quite sad to see how quickly a culture can decline. It appears as though the new leadership team wants to build a brand new company from the ground up - without the quality of leadership needed to be done right. So far, it doesn’t appear that it will be a success, at least from the ground level from where I see, but I truly hope I’m wrong. The longer we go without course correction, the less likely the strengths that made CareFirst such a wonderful place to work will return to any degree of the wonderful company it once was (even with all the things that we needed to improve). I recognized the greatness from the moment I joined CareFirst until the first half of 2019. I do truly feel blessed for the years I was successful and thriving at what I viewed as a world class company. Now, there’s little to hold onto, and I’m in search of another company that is a great as the one the once was CareFirst.
Some people say it was always like this, others say it was better, I'm trying to determine who's right.
