Restructuring after restructuring

What is the positive effect of the latest restructuring? Is there any?
I don’t see Cisco's restructuring succeeding in being more responsive to opportunities in the marketplace. It does not seem to me that there is now a great strategy to drive growth and innovation. Restructuring has mostly encouraged more and more people to look for better options for themselves. I mostly notice the negative effects of the restructuring and I want to get out of here more than ever.

Restructuring is a fine balancing act, done right it amplifies the results, done excessively can break peoples morale leading to negative results and talent drain.

In Cisco restructuring and reorgs are done in excess than the industry norm, with decision makers appear to be making non-data driven short term view decisions. Hence leaves a bad taste.

Reorg on the other hand in some case are a musical chairs event with the stakeholders not knowing how it helps growth.. in certain cases it clearly an empire building exercise by some Sr leader to cement his or her position in the org!

Layoff. Restructuring sounds better to the leaders when they’re sharpening their ax and spending their bonus. A tu-d by any other name smells just as foul.
