Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

136 BILLION IN ASSETS, BILLION < and won't even give a raise to keep up with inflation

Roughly 136B in assets, Lets pay all these celebrities millions while forget about who makes this company. The employees make this company not upper or lower management. The employees run this sht. Not Dipsord and not the lame as manager
We are about to start a union if this sh*t don't change.
Save every .50~ cents on a letter as an employee while you spends millions seriously ?
That is how rates can be lowered for insureds. Take all the extra and lower rates for insureds and Fk the employees is the SF attitude. Ya'll need to be giving raises out at least 2 times per year and you are lucky to have people even working for you. Inflation rate is wayyyy higher than the d-mb peddle raises that you get in first quarter.
We Can shut the whole operation down and we will do it Again if something does not change soon. How do you think the systems go down? Fkn pay all the employees what they are worth, Your number 1? not for long... number 1 for most employees leaving this company.

Yes SF held our hands most of my career. It was great.
With technology and the changing workplace they aren't doing so anymore, like just about everyone else.
Young workers started job hopping every 2-3 years and that's how the game is played now. No employee investment and no loyalty from either side. It's time to accept it and get over it. Find the career you really want. Stop blaming others. Look within.

I was a teamster to put myself through college. You really don't want a union. Believe me they don’t have the workers best interest. You should compare benefits and shock it out. The unions are a was.

Yes by all means… Raises two times a year… Or make it four times a year. What planet do you live on? I have family at JP Morgan— Assets about four times what State Farm has. And you know what? No raises for anyone in 2020. Sorry my friend but you are an out of touch. Go join your union and see how that works out for you. EIP was HUGE this year

I earned a large raise in 2020. Maybe if you were more productive you would have earned a large raise, as well.
