If you have a job that requires you to be in the office, what happens if you do not get vaccinated by the 17th?

Sorry, I am not connecting the dots that you are.
Care to elaborate how getting vaccinated means you’re going down a drain?
Is that a general statement on COVID or does it only apply to State Street Employees
No matter what side you’re on; vaxxed or unvaxxed, it all leads to the same place, only unvaxxed will be unemployed and eventually spend all their savings trying to survive since being vaccinated it the way of the future. The vaxxed and unvaxxed are all headed to the same point in time, both will have their share of issues and problems from being vaxxed and unvaxxed.
Basically, no one wins, but one group goes financially down the drain quicker.
Delta is rising. Europe is blocking non essential travel from u.s., but let us go into the office during this pandemic. Senior managers are in a huge bubble!
No one will get fired.
State is so lawsuit adverse, it is laughable.
I have been trying to get a guy on my team terminated for being useless for the last 12 months.
They’ll more likely put you in a new role before going down that road.
It is a termination clause that is for sure. I worked along HR and legally your personal rights go out the door as soon as you enter a SSBT facility.
You would not get laid off, you would get fired. No unemployment, no severance. It is a condition of your job.
Get vaccinated or hit the road. Medical exemption only.
Simple as that!!
If you tell them you are vaccinated but aren't and they find out, then you will be violating bank's ethics. I find this really humorous because we all know who has been lacking ethics.
We must all do our part to make State Street prosper. There is a greater good we must work towards. State Street above all else. Getting vaccinated is a small price to pay and a small sacrifice to make in order the State Street, our mothership, can thrive.
There is only 4 months left in 2021. We must do all we can to ensure the profits go up so that the executive bonus pool is maximized. That is our responsibility.
Now get back to work and get vaccinated!
Vaccines should be a condition for employmeny regardless where you physically work. PERIOD. Like a credit check is when you are hired. Only difference is if you have bad credit they believe you to be a risk to State Street. Well the same should apply for some who refuse the vaccine as you are a risk to fellow employees unless you have a medical issue. The vaccine policy should blanketly be applied to all to be consistent. No religious exception either. If your actions can harm others than the religious exemption should not apply.
If they require you to be in office, but you don't want to be vaccinated, my guess is that you will have to work in spaces separate from those who are vaccinated, and will be subjected to frequent testing. I have heard reports that's how some other companies are dealing with it.
I don't know the legality of it, but I doubt companies are going to fire people that refuse to be injected with a non-FDA approved dr-g. "My body, my choice," right? Or does that not apply anymore because it doesn't fit the agenda?
I have worked at SSB remotely for 18 months now, have no need to be in the office, and don't want the vaccine. I get my work done, and I'd hope that they just leave those of us in this category alone and allow us to continue as we have been. But with this company, who knows? They might order you back to the office with a vaccination mandate and then send you off to a conference room for some Critical Race Theory training. That's probably what our pudgy, woke CEO is pushing for.
I’m asking out of curiosity, I am vaccinated and have a job I can do remotely.
Deal with a team that needs to be in the office and two of them told me they’d quit before they’d get vaccinated.
If Sept 17 hits and they don’t, does state street terminate them, move them to new rolls or lay them off?
Breakthrough virus - you may be vaccinated and be asymptomatic thereby infecting others. The virus load is higher. Let's all go into the office and have our conference room meetings to benefit a company that does not care. Layoffs, scrappy medical benefits, no raises, no promotions, but that's ok you can give up your health and family's health for the great bank.
