I applied for a job here without any high expectations because I came with the intention of working only for a short time and moving on. That doesn’t mean I haven’t taken my job very seriously and I’m doing the best I can. That’s why I sometimes feel very naive when I see others doing just the bare minimum to almost nothing. The company has done everything to keep people from taking business here seriously, and on the other hand it is trying in every way to get people to work hard.

when you pay minimum wage and the neighboring stores offer two to three dollars an hour more you get the bare minimum.
It is not the company doing everything to have workers take business seriously..it is YOU. So many of these posts sound alike I swear it is the same person posting them
@tjy Good for you. It's called pride in yourself and your work.
Work ethic is different for everyone. Some do the bare minimum and seem to get away with it, while others bust their bu-t to no avail. I work hard and leave satisfied with myself knowing I gave full effort. I’ve never been one to just do the bare minimum.
