Does it seem to you that customers have never been more dissatisfied? I think that's true. And what a coincidence, the employees too have never been more dissatisfied!

Every day I work to support the stores Tech I see this with customers and employees. I talked to an employee recently who went to another location to try and purchase Bedding. Could not believe how long he had to wait to get assistance. Went somewhere else and someone greeted him as soon as he walked in. Liked the item and bought it there. As a third party vendor now I get to see both sides and it’s not good. Some sites have no AP which is also a recipe for theft and disaster.
Macys is not a great company.. and never will be... remember they let go all the talent.. so lie in the bed you made
I would assume short staffing is the cause, people will have to go back to work eventually it’s just a matter of when. Macy’s is a great company but Covid had impacts that businesses didn’t expect like the government paying people to sit home and do nothing for over a year a half and not even attempt to find a job. Give these companies a chance these are unheard of times to hire people. When Covid was first starting did anyone really expect this to be the biggest problem post vaccine?
