If you ever feel stressed just ask yourself if the people at the top care about your wellbeing. If you answered truthfully then you know it is a resounding NO. This is a multi-million dollar company that chooses to pay subpar wages at the store level to employees who are the literal backbone of Belk. While we have people at the top who may think store level may be low skill it is the work we do that is keeping the company afloat. I didn’t think it was possible to find another company that would appreciate the work I do but I was wrong. There are companies out there who would be glad to have us working for their teams.
