People arent even worried about layoffs anymore. They are so tired of the management, lack of pay, hours, micromanagement, rules, etc… Techs are quitting especially since the new manager took over and its only gonna get worse! Good luck Bammel (sarcasm).

NOV is not long for this world. Worked there for a couple years and can tell you the management at NOV is among the worst. Id--ts and self-absorbed baffoons.
It's all CYA at the management level, even if that means the work doesn't get done.
Milk the cow and put in minimum effort into job. When the layoff finally comes, collect severance, take some time off to clear your head. Look for a new job. Stop giving a fu-k about a company that doesn't give a fu-k about you.
I just milk the cow.

That new manager needs to ease down a little or there will be no one to manage
The disturbing thing is!
Our main man got an influx of stock when it was down. All to bring his pay up at the time.
Now, he will rake up when the stock at some point comes back up.
And we’re all worth 500 bucks in their eyes when they need to realize, its those who sweat our as--s off to get the job done.
Without the sweats, there would be no mountain and no man left.
There would be, no NOV!
Place is a relic of times gone by.
You are dead on! Im not worried about layoffs anymore! I’m Just waiting on that severance package.
Then i will move on a be able to clear my head of that horrid toxic environment!
