University Of Phoenix lays of about 10% on August 9, 2021

I have firsthand knowledge that University Of Phoenix laid off about 10% of their workforce on Monday, August 9, 2021.

There were some limited layoffs from what I’ve seen. 10% seems wildly exaggerated of course.

As it turns out, UoPX was running on razor thin margins. The latest numbers available from the U.S. Department of Education show Fall 2019 Revenues of $929,887,410 and Fall 2019 Expenses: $928,508,549.
