Rumor has it that removing pensions are part of the cost saving initiatives. Same with 401k match.

Yeah, but isn’t Allstate only a 3% 401k match….pretty pathetic for a company this size

Yeah, there is still a pension….but it was trashed in 2013 when they moved on from average pay. They save hundreds of millions…if not billions with that little maneuver.

Oh come on now. Pensions probably but 401k match is pretty much the norm everywhere
