LOL, why are you still here, go work for Target instead!
Because of Global’s low hourly rate, especially for technicians, they are getting beat out by Walmart, Target, and Dollar General distribution centers that offer higher starting wages, sign-on bonuses, attendance bonuses, better tuition reimbursement/educational opportunities, and better 401k match. The only thing that isn’t better is the health insurance.
Congratulations, Global, as a technical employer, for putting yourself in competition with warehousing for workers. Brilliant HR staff you have!
What is the point of this post? That working at Target is more beneficial than GlobalFoundries? I am sure that is not true for anyone who wishes to work in a technical field.
