I know of plenty of folks who joined SF in the past couple of years who are now miserable here and I can't help but wonder, did they even bother to do ANY research on this place before accepting the job offer? There are so many places to find employee comments and reviews that there is no excuse anymore for accepting a job and then saying "I had no idea it would be this bad" after a few months. Seriously.

The reviews are pretty badly botted out on glass door. They are all one liner 5 star reviews.
I also got bait and switched a few times for roles.
If you’re calling me d-mb for needing health insurance and income. I’ll let you know before hand id look the other way if you needed help, or your off spring.
I guess if someone hires in without doing research, then it reflects on the quality of that person.
I'm not surprised they aren't happy. A person too lazy to check out a life-changing event probably shouldn't work outside of government.
I did my research and once i found out that we were poaching such high caliber middle management from the infamous office supply company and grocery stores - i was sold and even worked for less.
Here is a better question. Why does bad faith not matter to a insurance company?
