Any future for SAs?

Or will they be replaced by virtual specialists?

Nobody knows what an SA or TSA is. Systems Administrator? Stop using techno gibberish.

I am an AM and agree with last response. I depend on the SAs and TSAs for those technical relationships. I have raised the concerns to sales leadership and the only response I get is that is engineering’s decision. I can’t believe our sales leadership does not realize the impact this is already having on sales.

If Cisco leadership would put as much focus on driving sales as they do on stupid initiatives like click2expert and Agile TSA, then SAs would be in a better situation, have better career opportunities, and make some decent money.

Instead, we have Eric Knipp destroying what was once a significant advantage over our competition, which was our SAs and TSAs. Now our competition is using this click2expert and Agile TSA against us by saying that Cisco can no longer give you the technical relationship and you will get someone different each time. We have lost many SAs and TSAs to the competition over the last several months due to click2expert and Agile TSAs. Now my customers are asking when I am leaving to the competition and why Cisco is abandoning technical relationships.

It is unfortunate that our SEDs don’t have the boldness to stand up for the SAs. They all are worried about their next career move then the people they should be serving.

Zero future under eric knipp. He's destroyed the TSA and SA community. He wants to pool all SA's and put them in the same stupid click2expert disaster that TSA's got put in and are all quitting over.
