There are still people who enjoy working at Allstate. It makes me frustrated to come here looking for any news of layoffs when those who are no longer here or those who are unhappy do nothing but badmouth the company just because it’s an anonymous site. If you don’t like your situation then do something about it instead of spewing your bitterness all over the web because all you’re doing is showing others how the company still has a hold on you even after you’re gone.

OP is spot on, this site is named Layoffs.com, not Moan and groan about my job.com. There has ben hardly any news about Allstate layoffs on this site in 9 months.
The pounding of the drum of “I’m overworked”, “we need a union”, “we are underpaid”, “ claims is the face of the company”, is so tired. What has changed in the last year with all this griping.
Either deal with your new reality or move on. Or invest in a therapist, oops forgot, you want Allstate to pay for that too. So I guess that ain’t happening.
“Let it go already”? Let it go to India! Make a fast decision Tom. You can do it. We are half way there now. Go all the way and “let it go already”.
If you enjoy working at Allstate, in the face of the massive mistreatment of employees and RIFs happening to your fellow employees, well, then, your mother didn’t raise you right. You shouldn’t be able to feel good about Allstate knowing how they’re treating employees. Sure, maybe your workload is light and your pay is good, but is that all that matters — what your personal situation is?!

OP. Why in the world are you in this forum if your so giddy and charmed at this company?
Layoffs and company culture and info is what this is about and should be an open forum for folks to express. Unlike like fake ones and algorithms

I actually enjoy working in my role at allstate. It's easy, I get paid well, PTO, 401K. However, I'm fine with ex employees and current employees voicing how they feel. It was messed up how allstate treated all of us in 2020 with the layoffs and then emails of record profits and management in meetings bragging of how well the company was doing. I have zero faith and trust in upper management. I'm strictly here for the money and to collect an easy pay check especially during covid. Allstate has a respected name but the issue is the upper management only cares about the bottom line and their bonuses. They don't care about employees or customers. I see work as a job to pay bills so I don't care if they care about me. However some people care about the company they work for and are passionate. Those people have a right to express their concerns
As much as I welcome “free speech”, I do find some of the comments offensive. References such as “Tom is a jerk” really doesn’t bring value to the essence of this site. Moreover, by virtue of visiting this site, one would already have a low opinion of him.

If you like Allstate so much, why are you posting in here. Go to Linkedin and give praise to all the Allstate posts. It might be a better place for you to go if you are looking for good Allstate vibrations,
