Maybe someone from corporate can read this and think about what I am about to say. How about give your associates Thanksgiving day off no fulfillment,no bopis and no customers. STAY CLOSED for the day show your Associates that it does matter everything we have had to change from doing everything:set sales(daily),freight, merchandise, markdowns, cleaning, fulfillment and trying to give customers what they need. We are your front lines. We have been exposed every day we come to work. We can not work from home or do our jobs though zoom. We are open from 10-9 with the last 2 hours with no customers. No we don’t want a pizza party we want Thanksgiving off to spend with our families as you at corporate get too. Our lunches are about to be cut to 30 minutes, we are going to deal with people who shop 1 time a year and don’t understand sales, call outs because what is being hired are kids.

Oh no, I hope no associates decide to band together and not show up on thanksgiving. How terrible would that be, to let your store managers fend for themselves…

Think? Oh, sure. What with? Snowballs?
YES!!!!!! Great idea, but I doubt they will.
And if not, how about a statewide strike for Belk on Thanksgiving?Don't
Whatever would they do if everyone called in sick?
