This isn't a communist country. Why doesn't RTX offer the choice of taking Vaccine or Weekly Testing? The executive order says thats the choice.

If it bothers you that much, you've the freedom to quit. Nurses are doing it at hospitals, you can do it too. Good luck with your new position.
They have a lot of money and lawyers? That doesn't mean they want to spend a bunch of money using them and then losing people. At the end of the day, tons of time in court and less production will only pi-s off shareholders when the stock tanks. Imagine all that work on a backlog, to not be able to deliver.
The comment about mechanics globally is not an issue as mandate only applies to the US. It is illegal to ask vaccine status in the EU due to GDPR for example.
You took the shot to protect the health of your family. Not because you need to provide them financially. Look at it that way.
As was stated in another comment, Biden said all federal contractors will be required to take the shot. “Want to do business with the government take the shot” as he said. That’s why there’s no test out option. The religious exemptions will not be given out lightly. You can bi--h and you can point at how wrong it is, but they’ve essentially put into a binary decision, take it and keep your job or don’t and lose your job. Doesn’t get much more straightforward than that. While I very much didn’t want to take it, I have a family to provide for and I can’t take my personal desires and place those above the needs of those that depend on me. I will however never forget what was done to me.
Raytheon has internally admitted that they will not accept or entertain religious exemptions because it would set an undue, negative precedent. Can you say FU---D? Being investigated.
As I understand what Joe Biden has mandated, if you are a federal employee or a federal contractor you must get the vaccine with no option for weekly testing.
The weekly testing option is only available to non federal and non federal contractor employees.
It's a game of chicken where two cars are racing towards the cliff, and whoever hits the brakes first loses. But the winner may end up dead. RTX has super expensive lawyers at hand as well as lots of money resources. Good luck going against this new RTX "machine"!!!

And when they figure out they only have a few jet engine mechanics left to build their jet engines at each and every plant sites around the world and how bad it hurt their business and pi-s off all the stock holders it will be to late to call all their workers back.
Between all that and the class action law suits bc were not given a choice to test weekly for covid 19 or a vaccine. This company will surely regret strong arming their employees to get vaccinated or loose your job.
