Tough times are for you dude not the company executives. They make good coin. Go on then, threes are other companies than these.

Xerox and the other Fortune 500 big wigs don’t care about you. They want shareholders so they make more money. That’s all. I was at X for over 20 yrs. I took all I could from them and they took from me. When I didn’t have any more use for them I left. As much as I loved the people I worked with it was always a business transaction. I work for them. Those under the false impression that xerox was going to ‘take care of you’?!? That was an antiquated notion.

Don't blame Xerox. Most companies value the shareholder more than the employee. That's how our lopsided system is set up, to sc--w the little guy.

I remember at my last company, someone asked our CEO why we were giving out dividends, purchasing a company for a couple billion dollars, and offering stock repurchases all while laying people and not preserving headcount.

CEO probably spat out his water and handed the question off to the CFO and he said, “If we want our investors to stay interested in the company then this is the only way to do so.”

Goes to show how little corporations care about their people even though they brag about them in email or LinkedIn. You are not their bottom line. Their strategy is to be greedy and get a massive raise and a massive bonus. Still to this day do I want to slap the living daylights out of my former CEO. He needs to resign.
