Can we please stop the nonsense that COVID-19 vaccine is dangerous and is an attack on our freedom? Most of us have been vaccinated against a dozen different diseases since we were babies. And we’re still alive! Let’s just put COVID-19 vaccine in the same drawer and move on. It’s safe, it’s been tested, it’s been approved and it’s efficient. It’s about saving people’s lives, not take away their rights! Now if you don’t care about science, then don’t show up at a hospital after ignoring the scientific advise and contracting this virus!

If the vaccines were all they claim to be, the pharma companies would accept liability for their vaccines. They have no liability and you have no recourse. The reason they moved vaccinated people counting as vaccinated for 14 days after receiving the second dose is that most deaths and severe complications take place in the 2 week time frame. Easy to check, literally 10s of thousands of issues.
One other thing, since when does opposing One rushed "vaccine" where any opposing view or debate regardless of expertise is censored make you an anti-vaxxer. I have had all safe and approved vaccines. I am not a lab rat. My body, my choice.
If they take the vaccine they won't have something to complain about. Most of these anti-vaxxers are just loud folks who jump on these bandwagons. Check the bumper sticker on their cars..
We need to manage coronavirus as pandemic and whatever good work we did like remote work, mask, social distancing should continue.
Vaccine doesn't stop spread of coronavirus and kid are not yet eligible for vaccine. Until kids have protection it's better stick to remote working. Asking employee to return back to work as vaccinated would like young kids in house still vulnerable.
There is no scientific reason work has to be performed in office only then how we managed last 1.5 years. Reason for asking employee to return back to office is purely for promotion purpose to get media attention for IPO with crowded events
OP, one thing you have to realize is education does not coincide with common sense. Just because someone goes to school doesn’t mean common sense is developed. Common sense, for the most part, is a developed trait, through real-world experiences and applications, not just read in a textbook or a professor teaching you. We are seeing that the education system is developing socialists and communists, through years of activism in the educational ranks, which has led to regurgitation of talking points, rather than independent thought. Schools were once an institution that championed individual thought. Today, they are bank accounts and indoctrination centers. Example, Berkeley.
Back to corona. My mistake was I didn’t apply a label to 50% vaccinated hospitalizations being within the age group of 65+, which is the most vulnerable to Covid. While younger people are going into the hospital, the survival rate is still 99.9% for younger people. Evidence of this is the passage of booster shots for 65+, just yesterday, which was rejected for younger people by the same FDA panel.
Also, the vaccinations you listed are for diseases that serve as BARRIER vaccines, you know, vaccines that eradicate diseases and/or require boosters after a decade or no longer need shots after a couple of doses. Today’s coronavirus vaccines are NOT BARRIER vaccines. They are simply symptom reducing injections. While vaccines do work at reducing symptom severity, they don’t stop infection or prevent spread, hence you are wearing a mask that is 12% effective against spread. Israel just released initial data that booster shots lead to increased immunity for only 12 days. These are all things you can look up.
So tell us, how is a Globalfoundries vaccine mandate going to stop coronavirus in its tracks and prevent the workforce from potential exposure, when the vaccines don’t work that way? You failed to answer that question.
