Simply brilliant idea !!! Who's the genius behind this plan ?

In 2018, 3M made a secret agreement with Lantis to use the most polluted of the soil dug up for the tunnel-highway project to build what was called a “security wall” surrounding its factory. Plans for the almost mile-long, 21-foot-high, 82-foot-wide structure were scrapped last December after environmentalists challenged the legal basis for the move.

Imagine what the situation could have been if 3M would have been more proactive about PFAS in early 2000. All it did was stop production of long chain molecules then.

Look at the alarming situation now. No body is quite sure how big the PFAS liability is now with literally thousands of lawsuits all over the world with multi billion $ lawsuits and liability. This might eventually lead to the downfall of the once mighty company.

Meanwhile the big corporate honchos whose job was to "manage" the PFAS crisis simply kicked the can down the road and are now enjoying their fat pensions and beach houses. Should be a great case study for MBA classes about mismanagement
