Management treats us like sh-t day in, day out. They expect us to do everything for miserable pay and hours and then they're shocked when we stop caring and fulfilling every customers' whim. Well I might start caring about customers being happy when you stop treating me like dirt! Until then, I'll happily continue to ignore everybody as I go about my work.

My old first sergeant used to always say, the army decides what sh-t you have to do each day, but only you get to decide your attitude. You have clearly chosen to be miserable and allow the environment to steal your joy. Do better
I started feeling this way toward the end too but I reminded my self because the work environment is bad it is no reason to take it out on the customer. Walmart is toxic, management treats employees like sh-t yes but it isn’t the customers fault and they deserve to get the help they need. I had to remind myself they are not the reason I am unhappy and shouldn’t be taking it out of them. I got fed up after almost 10 years and started applying places. Every place I applied to called me back. Now is the time to start looking, lots of places hiring. I am the happiest I have been in years. Better job and pay. I work M-F no weekends and no holidays. Very thankful for my new job. So happy I am out of Walmart. I wonder why I didn’t leave sooner now…. But who’s to say I’d be where I am at now at this job. Everything happens for a reason.
