Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Store to lose over half of the employees

Around the grapevine the word is that if Lowe's decides to mandate either testing or the vxe then more than half of the employees will be leaving. How will Lowe's handle this kind of issue? It's going to be a dire situation across the globe if people submit to this because it will never stop. Be prepared mentally for what comes.

in a few years you'll see commercials on TV saying that if you go the VAX please call lawyers INC at 444 44 44 to file a claim against and secure you payments. Or even wrongful deaths.

previous post says it...........why the massive push for a still unproven vaccine for a virus with a low death rate. Why is a valid question. If you feel the need to vaccine great...let's hope it is the right decision for you. But using "the greater good" spiel to guilt someone into disavowing their freedom of choice is a bit Stalinesque dont you think

most people are not anti vax ,just do not want this one. Why push so hard on something that is 98 % curable ? Makes one wonder if there are sinister forces behind this. It is my body my choice. Lowes will be awful sorry if they choose to force this on their employees It will clearly show their politics .Not a good business model

When all the unjabbed leave Lowes, all the jabbed can spread the virus and the varients amongst themselves and the unjabbed won't be getting sick by THEM anymore!

People here are unbelievable. One shoes doesn’t fit all. If a person choose not to get the vaccine … that is their constitutional right to decide whether or not they get it. What is going on in this country is mind boggling and people aren’t not seeing the bigger picture. If Lowe’s allows this to be policy they will lose a bunch of hardworking and knowledgeable workers.

Its so funny how much misinformation is out there, even the president spreads it. If you are vaccinated you have nothing to worry about, you are protected from serious illness. Everyone can get and spread this virus.

If Lowe's requires it, it will because the government forces them to. I don't want the government telling me what to do. It is sad it has come to this where their are so many ignorant people that are causing this thing to go on and on and people dye because they are to stubborn to get a shot.

Most of the people I work with who are anti vax are also anti work hard. So really if they want to quit bc they refuse a vax (of which they all run out to get flu shots every year) then maybe we can hire people who want to work. And not lean on a grill watching customers. Or hideout in the break room or office. And then maybe Lowe’s will give the rest of us raises for staying!

I also took the jab and it opened my eyes. Found out that working in Lowe's is like the Matrix, so I quit and got my life back. Nice having weekends off.

For the record, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and Comirnaty are one and the same. Early on Pfizer and BioNTech teamed up to develop their COVID-19 mRNA vaccine. While being utilized under emergency use authorization (EUA) it was commonly referred to as Pfizer (which was easier than saying Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine). Now that it has received FDA approval it can be marketed under the trade name of Comirnaty (https://www.fda.gov/emergency-preparedness-and-response/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/comirnaty-and-pfizer-biontech-covid-19-vaccine)

Uttar Pardesh in India (population 204 million) is now coof free having no active cases. But keep spreading the fear when a simple $3.00 pill could have saved how many lives? If you get the vaccine but still can get the coof, get sick from the coof, die from the coof & spread the coof then it's really just a therapeutic. Wake up.

Walkouts in protest have already been discussed. Lowe's can't really afford at this point to lose more people when it's already a he-l of a time hiring new and keeping them.

For the love of God would you diehard anti-vaxxer PLEASE cease and desist about this! Seems like every other day yet another thread gets started with the same commentary. This is a global pandemic and the 3rd leading cause of death in this country. Nearing 0.7 million dead Americans and over 4.6 million globally. The virus is here to stay on planet Earth and the longer it takes the entire planet to reach "herd immunity" the more opportunities it has to mutate into something even more lethal and/or contagious than the current delta variant and spread like wildfire across the planet. Even if "herd immunity" is ever achieved it will likely stay at pandemic status for quite some time before transitioning to epidemic status.

If you don't want to get a vaccine that could very well save your life (or someone you actually care about) then so be it. Just because everyone else isn't drinking the same spiked kool-aid that you are doesn't make your opinion correct and the rest of us sheep.

The concept of messenger RNA vaccines were decades in the making and absolutely didn't happen overnight. If you research the origins of the company Moderna (note the company's name ends with "RNA") you would already know this but since either you don't understand the science (or it doesn't fit your narrative) you reject it in its entirety. Pfizer now has full FDA approval (ages 16 and over) and there is nothing that is experimental about it.

Regarding the original post; nothing you, or any of us, post on this site means a hill of beans to Lowe's corporate. It is my understanding that many companies already required those in their respective corporate offices to be vaccinated and quite frankly I see little to zero chance of them mandating anyone at the store level to be vaccinated. It is a legitimate concern that companies limit their liability of their employees spreading a potentially lethal virus to its customers and if Lowe's determines it is in their best interest then they will require it. Personally it is my opinion corporate is less concerned with employee well being then they are with how investors view the company as a whole. Whether you or any of us stay or go will not factor into their decision on this or any matter. Heck, they would probably consider it a positive as it would give them yet another "opportunity" to transition to an even higher ratio of part-time staff.

Immunity: Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.

Vaccine: A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but some can be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.

Vaccination: The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease. A substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease.

Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination. This term is often used interchangeably with vaccination or inoculation.

Vax and unvaxxed both spread the virus. The vaccine only prevents more serious illness. So if you are vaxed, good for you. You are protected so stop making it a big deal

They can all leave for all I care. The unvaxxed are spreading it to others like wildfire. They are ignorant, selfish etc.
