Would you do your best again during the worst period of a pandemic if you knew you would be rewarded with a 1% pay increase? I see it as a slap in the face for all hard workers.

Received a thank you letter for all my hard work and dedication during COVID etc., with 23% yoy growth. Next day job was eliminated.

3M for Life and Hire to Retire are two terms that will go into oblivion. With Covid here to stay, the way forward will be a he-l of a lot more Agency Temp workers. Blue collar workers that have been with 3M for any length of time can now clearly see they are losing a lot more privilege's and incentives and pay increases of the lowest amounts. Q3 will see a dramatic slump in profits as the cost of RM and cutbacks in inventories are playing havoc with the metrics. More closures will surely follow as executives are weeding out poor and underperforming plants and closure will happen on several more plants before Q2 in 2022. The acquisition of Acelity for approx $6.7 billion was a mistake and now there is no money in the coffers.. The end is nigh for Roman, he will get out next year with his multi-million dollar handshake before it goes totally pear shaped. But in the meantime, if the Muscles of the company join forces together and stand united and demand , not ask for a proper payrise that has not been given for several years then , if it is not met, now is the time to take the appropriate actions
