Are these people that worked at the gap folding jeans a few years ago now getting all the money? Have you been on an L10+ sales meeting lately? The experienced are the grunts being lead by the overconfident jargon spouting clueless. This is a DSD execution driven company. If you don’t come from those roots, you’re of no help.

If u were an L10 you wouldn't be posting here.
In my department the promotions are handed out based on personality. The outwardly vocal people are promoted whether they are good or not. Leadership won't approve a promotion for a person they have never heard do a presentation. It's disappointing that leadership operates this way, it's making the good workers feel not wanted.
I could not agree with this last comment more. spot on
College Hires are treated like royalty. Long term employees are disrespected at every turn.
oh well, who cares, it's only junk food, and the sooner the company is destroyed the healthier and better off the world will be
This epidemic of unexperienced "managers" at Pepsi is due to nepotism. My department all of a sudden had 2 new managers out of no where. When I dug deeper, I found out they were related to the director, administrative assistant to the VP. My manager for example promoted twice in less than 2 years. Clueless we called him a good for nothing. My department gets lay off yet they kept their jobs even after we trained them. Nepotism is destroying this company.
That's because the experienced tend to disagree with management while the clueless know how to kiss a$$ better than they can do the job. Upper management prefer to have clueless under them because the d-mber they are, the more obedient they are. That gives upper management more control. The more experienced tend to speak up more and question management actions and actually make management look stupid. So if you are one of the experienced, you better keep quiet or you will end up with a target on your back.
