Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Anyone else going to leave over the vaccine mandate?

So I’ve made up my mind and will not comply; I expect to be gone by Christmas, either by firing or resigning. Anyone else planning on leaving, or am I the only one?

Not trying to have a pro/anti vax argument here, I’m sticking to my principles so please try to hold back the insults. Just want to see if there’s any substance to the suspicion that many will leave their jobs over this.

Fed Vaccine mandate, GE has NO choice, like thousands of other businesses, but to do what the great Biden says. Some day unions will realize what the scumbag democrats do to the working class, every time they are in power. GE will bare zero responsibility if anything bad happens to anyone. Good luck getting a good paying job without a jab.

Well, the mandate has arrived. You have to request an accommodation by October 29th, or fully vaxed by November 24th.

Compliance will not guarantee you keep your job. Will GE even be solvent and able to pay your family if the vax causes your death, by the time their case is heard?

Don't count on it.

Sorry but statistically the people opposed to forcing this vaccine are more intelligent than those supporting it. This has already been studied.

I'll be out soon as well. Greenville, salaried. The future here just isn't bright enough to risk my health on an experimental vax that was rushed through abbreviated testing.

If we weren't already circling the drain I might consider it. But GE isn't likely to still be solvent by the time any lawsuits over possible future vax complications succeed in court.

See if you can get the religious exemption first then try the testing.

Yeah I’ll be leaving over the mandate. Probably going to work for my cousins contracting business. About the same money but way less hours. Definitely a financial step backwards. Not a conspiracy nut or anything - just don’t want it in me until I have seen a few years of potential side effects.
