I know they have to do it because its a Federal program they can take advantage of...
But it is so slimey that Husky and Cenovus received $122MM through the wage subsidy program in 2020 and laid of 1000's anyway to start this year.

As an indirect recipient of the Wage Subsidy through 2020; a Severance Package in January; and currently collecting EI, all I can say is I am happy to finally be receiving some of my income tax dollars back !!!
How much of that subsidy was used to distribute bonus to executives? This is very wrong!
