Is anyone astonished with the lack of a plan on handling injury claims with reduced capacity. They have let the staffing deteriorate for the last year in a half. We are robbing Peter to pay Paul through all of claims making it worse for all claims. Economy of scale only works when you have trained scale to deploy. The lack of staffing is creating an environment of excessive stress, excessive workloads, costly errors, costly OT and it pushes good people out the door. Mid-Management won't event talk about staffing. The policyholders will let us know when the they feel the impact of not having someone handle their claim. Our big jump in policy gains will shift back if changes are not made very soon. What's the plan?

Hilarious now Mr. Management is a parrot.
You elected me! FOAD!
Hey @1dqo-who elected you to decide who can post on this site? Last time I checked it was open to all. Grow up.
@1dquo-FOAD.
You are the same troll that posted the id--t comment pretending to be someone else posting a comment not just once but twice! Less teeth please next time! Get off the site if you do not have anything of substance to contribute regarding the topics of layoffs or the business environment at State Farm.
@hth-while you raise some valid concerns your vulgar and obscene language is disgusting and should not be tolerated on this site.
Spend less time on your phone and on this site and spend more time helping our customers in need.
I would gladly change places with you.
@zas- ATM. You luv it.
You are the normal troll and mo--n that always chimes in with nothing, anyone that works at SF can access the job levels and pay scales. It's posted on the HR resource site for everyone to see!!! LOL...id--t! Exposeddd!!! Obviously you are too stupid or lazy to look! ....Express ghetto employee or do not even work at SF. My post said when I started at SF, the employees made more than most of the managers/me....your too stupid to even read or understand what that meant! Get back to work or your going to show up on the wrap report again!
You were not in management! Everyone knows they make 6 figures or more. You are an imposter troll!
Agreed staffing decision are made above the VP/HR level and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line leaders are tuned out of the conversation and told to just deal with it and control the controllables! Employees need to understand that! I see this question asked so many times here and the response is always the same. It's the business model, they want you to either work yourself to death or leave. Upper leadership sees claim handlers as a stop gap measure to AI and you're a waste of money. Get over it! The business/expense model depends on pay staying as low as possible, at all levels. When I was promoted into leadership I was the lowest paid employee on my team! My para-professional level employees made more than I did and a lot of the professional level employees made double what I did. They want a transitory work force in all areas! You have c-ck sucking bastards running this company that will deserve to burn in h-ll! Sorry... oh it's just business and we are doing the best for our "policyholders". They will get that out of their lips right before they feel a burning pounding sensation in their Arsssessz!
Be glad you have job security. Mid management does not make staff hiring decisions. That is upper management. You are going to be stressed for a while. There is talk about hiring more staff, but if/when it’s implemented, or if these new staff workout, that’s a tbd. Sorry. Middle management here. We are are stressed too.
