the muscles (Production Employees) of THE COMPANY are now subjected to 1% pay increase in a year where they have had to return to work day after day, no working from home malarkey, the years of grafting on with no smell off advancement or a promotion and only dreaming a team leader would look at your development plan,, this is where it will really hurt the Company,, all you guys upstairs earning your fat grades and getting an extra title added onto you because you cant go further,, its time the small person reached up and grabbed the mic

Solution = less management, less workers
Yes, it stinks to high heaven ! But this is how Wall Street capitalism works.
Muscles ( production workers) of the company get negligible pay raises and brains ( technical employees) of the company get miniscule pay raises and face dismal career prospects while the face ( management in general) of the company gets all the credit , quick promotions and significant pay hikes and stock options !!
Meanwhile Linkedin is full of praises from management about our workers who made more than a billion masks in the middle of a pandemic. What they don't tell is that as a reward they get a 1% pay hike for their hard work while inflation is the highest in about 20 years or so !
