ADVICE: Never allow yourself to get into a situation to experience a burnout here and endanger your health. You will not achieve anything except that you will eventually leave, and this company will replace you with another employee because we are all repleaceble for WFM. My thyroid has suffered from stress here. Do you think WFM cares about that? No, absolutely not.

Several tl’s quit since all they had to run the store as shifties while store leadership went on extra days off, left early,vacations, leaves of abscence and covid paid leave . One tl was later walked by ec’s & field associates and they had no clue that the tl’s were doing two jobs running their teams and the store for the same pay nothing extra they all got burnt out and left at the end they had nothing to show for it.
We have opened and closed the store some times the same tl’s from opening to closing no other store leadership .Comes to show they only use you for their short term gain.Store leadership has a hard time with reports since it was all done by the tl’s.Holidays are just around the corner can’t wait to have the store leadership team work 12-14hr days for the same pay and back breaking work they earned it.
All those clip boards and the only ones that look at them like they care are the atl’s and tl’s.We have way too many leadership positions posted what does that say about whole foods? Your health and well being is more important than their expectations so just leave .We have team members on leave due to strokes,heart attacks,hypertension and a whole lot of mental issues due to stress. Whole foods will only pay the new hires more while proven performers get paid less after years. Make wise choices when you get a job whole foods proves your years of service don’t matter even if you perform.
Whole Foods isn't a hard job. However life is hard for many people right now. Some of my best Tm's are barely hanging in there. They do not need the extra stress of having to work overtime just so I (their leadership) don't get written up for failing to meet a nonsensical KPI metric or failing to print and hang the 20 reports no one has ever looked at or will ever need to look at on the comm board. Everyone responsible for OTS and In-stock should be fired and be ineligible for rehire for eternity. Such a failure! So much unnecessary busy work.
For ten years, I've bled for that company. No more.
Spread the word don't work extra hours do the bare minimum and make WFM make a real change. Anytime anyone complains tell them don't stress you won't get fired if you do the the minimum. Raises have gone to nothing anyway so why even work hard?
