March is the 3rd month, out of 12 months total, in gregorian calendar, which is what we use. It's a gregorious day today.

March is the final bonus under the legacy TDA bonus structure. This bonus will be significant to most Legacy TDA associates.

What’s March?

Does it really matter if you get vested on day 1 or 3 years later? Unless you are the type of person who switches jobs every 18 months this really isn't much of a perk. Like many of the perks at Schwab, it’s just fluff. It all sounds good until you start looking under the hood and find your Hemi is really just a loud 4 cylinder crate engine, nothing special. Can’t wait for March to get here.

I know our match is not the highest. But do Fidelity matches vest immediately?

Fidelity matches 7% of 100% per pay period and grants an annual profit share most years. Schwab is not competitive with their employee retirement plan.

401K match amount, of 5% of your total take home pay, may not be the highest, but is not bad. The instant vesting of the match is great though. I always max out on my 401k contributions ever year, and the match amount is over $10K. That's contributing $30K+ every year.

Health insurance is just ok.

401K is above average in my opinion. The match rate of 5% + $250 is the highest available, but the immediate vesting is great.

Actually 401k is above average, but health care is not on par with smaller companies or other trust Fortune 500s. Depends on what matters to you ultimately

“Consider the benefits and perks you're leaving behind”

Hate to say it, but the benefits and perks aren’t exactly all that great compared to Fidelity (much better 401K match) and others. They’re not terrible, but they’re not earth shattering either.
