I keep hearing good things about this being an employees' job market and there are plenty of jobs to go around, but I'm a bit skeptical. The openings I found did not offer competitive pay, so unless I'm willing to take a significant pay cut, I am stuck. Have others had more luck? Is it really as good as people are saying and I'm missing it?

To the person who posted- yes there are opportunities available! Go to LinkedIn and search people who used to be at CF- and left. Reach out. There are jobs available in this industry with a healthy culture and inclusive/ respectful leadership. There is a whole network of us who have left and are grateful every single day for the amazing opportunities we have found. Don’t lose hope- good companies do exist- just reach out and network. :-)
Highmark has lots of job openings.
The good jobs are taken before the postings hit the boards. The postings are just Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. People exaggerate a lot here, so don't take their word for it especially during these times, when companies lay ppl off.
