Not getting planned product

Trying to set the aisle and when I check skus they are not on order!
Any other stores having this issue.
I am A volume and I can not imagine us being a closing location, but we are empty and product is not showing up that’s on order, or stuff we are suppose to have in the aisle isn’t even on order.
This is worrisome.

Have you ever read William Faulkner, Grammar Police? For that matter, have you ever read ANY novel? He had run on sentences up to 60 words and numerous diversions in subjects. And he didn't have to work at a failing store like you do. They gave him a Nobel, too. Take the counting cr-p elsewhere, yahoo.

Other stores have to deal with the same supply chain and they are surviving better than Bloodbath. As far as your A volume store being too big to close, ask the former employees of the Orland Patk Bloodbath about that. All of you are in deep trouble when the actual earnings are in the tank like they were in Q 3.

The Targets by me have plenty of merchandise and stock rooms are basically at normal levels for this time of year. They have a few low areas, but nothing like us. How do I know? I have friends that work there and I have been in their sock rooms.

Target, Walmart and just about everywhere else have empty shelves and stockrooms. Amazes me that some are so eager to bash BBBY they do not see the yruth

Really, what’s the compelling reason to even bother with BBB?
Everything sold can be had elsewhere at similar pricing.
The idea that Target and Walmart have similar empty shelves/stock rooms is simply not true.
Has the ordering been botched?
Most certainly.
And just as likely they decided not to pay for the increased shipping costs. 40’ containers from China up 500% over last year.
And port turn around of a week for the record.
Funny the fall shop product largely arrived “on time”.

The customers are not sympathetic to our supply chain issues. They want what they came in for and will go elsewhere when we don't have it. Our core customers still expect that we will have a good selection for them to choose from, this is no longer a reality.

The backlog at the ports is real, but wouldn’t merchandise sitting on a ship waiting to be unloaded and make its way to its destination show as “on order” in the system? Original poster said they didn’t even show merchandise on order fir the new set. Seems like more than just a supply chain backlog.

Do a Google News search about "cargo ships not being unloaded", and you will find lots of articles. It's real.

Items sitting on a container ship off the shores of LA would not show as “on order”.

Supply chain excuse is for real. The majority of merchandise in America comes in through the Los Angeles and Long Beach CA ports. There are a bunch of fully loaded ships just sitting off shore waiting to be unloaded.

ok, for the sake of argument, let's say half empty stores are a result of supply chain backups. then that means that, despite this being a problem that's "all over the news" and affecting multiple retailers, our DM's are still yelling at stores about empty shelves and slow sales/poor conversion. how is blaming the individual stores and berating them for something out of their control helping?

and in the off chance you have a DM that is understanding and helpful, well, you're lucky

Grammar and punctuation are two different things . And they both ARE important

It is crazy to see as I remember when I first moved on to the floor in mid 2019 you could just spend your whole day just filling from the packed stockroom. Now the stockrooms are completely empty with repeats of products throughout the store just to make it look half-full Like a previous poster mentioned, it feels like we have a couple of good freight days where you can fill a good chunk of the department and then CDS takes it right away. Feels like a never ending cycle since last summer.

Love the supply chain excuse.
Use it multiple times daily when asked if the stores closing.
Only problem being Target and Walmart’s shelves are full.
The whole point of owned brands is to create a reason to shop here.
( and increase margin)
It’s a fail if you cant even stock the stuff.
Seems there might be more to running the place than switching out some packaging.

Also has to do with the supply demand issue. It's happening everywhere.

our store hasn't gotten much refill on any of the owned brand product. we got the initial fills during each of the launches, but once it sells the shelves just sit empty. then, on the random occasions we do get product back in, it's just enough to fill the shelf, and half of it is gone within the week to ship outs

I am surprised Larry Fink with Blackrock has not ask for the board to fire the rest of the C-Suite. Well he is a Democrat and would rather loose money embracing the Wokes than face the truth.

If this clown Corporate troll were as good in business as they are correcting grammar BBBY would maybe have good chance in surviving their impending collapse.

You know what else is worrisome? You wrote a sentence with almost 40 words in it! I believe those are called run on. You also forgot a question mark. The downfall of proper grammar worries me.
