I heard some Admins were announced yesterday
payroll is coming soon.
First will be the trimming of any who refuse the vax, B1and up mid October. Then they will be able to determine how deep the cuts need to be.
@@4jqp+1cAs6Wg2 I agree. They won't cut frontline or their managers. I am in a support role and it is just a matter of time. i have been training GBS since Aug 2020. I was told in Jan 2020 my job was going away and I would get 5-6 months notice. I am looking everyday for something new. I think Covid pushed back the timeline on training GBS and that is why I am still around.
I doubt they'll cut any field-related roles. At this point, the frontline situation from a staffing perspective is TERRIBLE, they can't fill roles, let along cut them. There are literally hundreds of openings and business running at greatly diminished capacity due to upstream supply chain constraints. If they cut anything it will be support functions and/or HQ.
Also with GBS, more HQ/support roles are going to be shifted there. It's only a matter of time.
PepsiCo is a ruthless corporate Titan - expect nothing less from these slugs. As close as I am to retirement I find myself looking for a new job every day and hope to get out of this ho-e soon. This has to be the most horrid corporation I have ever been associated with. Good riddance! Junk food junk company.
