Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Out of the loop.

Been out on PTO for the past week and saw that 6 claims VPs have quit or resigned. Any names? This has all the feeling of the start of another re-org. The higher ups get to jump ship and collect their severance while those in the trenches wait for everything to hit the fan.

It is always obvious in my opinion that when people are leaving in Groups..
There is a reason not made public.
It's the start of reorganizing I am sure. I feel it..
More floor moves by the end of the year.
Just let us stay home..save the headaches

Executives serve at pleasure of the board. They can get their walking papers anytime for no reason. No incentive necessary.

Right. I would bet they were given incentive to leave.

With all the money they raked in, should severance even be considered? Shouldn't be!

According to an HR source, none of the VP’s were happy with their sudden retirements….the severance was almost non-existent.
