Is morale improving?

Seems that people are a bit happier lately...

Beatings with the hose will continue until morale improves.

Still wondering if that morale is improving?

I straight up asked my manager about a raise off cycle due to cost of living and was told it’s not in the cards. So don’t get your hopes up.

Maybe another +2-3% off-cycle if business is really booming as much as they say and inflation/cost of living is staying high?

Spring sure is a long time to wait and risk people leaving, do you think they’ll do a spot bonus or some off cycle comp adjustment to boost morale? Sure would go a long way.

It's going to take far more than a 1.99% raise over the course of 3 years to increase my morale.

Morale is high! After I saw the CEO on the highest paid in Texas list I felt very happy about my 2% raise.

Absolutely not. Dropping off a cliff with everyone I know.
Covid taking out big groups in the field, no word from HSE since this is happening. It’s almost like no one cares we get sick while pumping out their oil.
I am shocked they haven’t sent Plano home. They must not care about them either.

What would the catalyst to such improvement be? Did I miss something?

Being forced prematurely into offices we didn’t need? Yup, morale boost.
