Apple, Google, Uber have taken the lead to mandate vaccinations and pushed return to office to Feb. Alberta is taking away all isolation needs if you’re tested positive for Covid and no masks required in transit. Numbers are going up quickly. I know at some point we have to live with it, but not until the virus variants weaken. Is Cenovus going to make us come back to the office on Sep 7 anyway? I’m worried about the lack of rules and hygiene in the tightly spaced cubicles and how that will affect me and my family. Most of us at CVE are probably co-----l vaccinated so who knows how protected we are, the politicians say whatever works for them so hard to believe anything. How’s everyone else feeling about this?

Only reason CVE has survived is because of the excellent reservoir at CL and FC. CVE made money in spite of the best efforts of reservoir, engineerering and operations.
Everybody patted themselves on the back about how smart they were, and gave themselves big bonuses for doing so well but really it was just the reservoir.
Now it's a company with a mature reservoir. Can CVE manage to sustain revenue, it's going to get harder and harder especially when things are going to be powered by wind, sun and unicorn farts.
Tired of covering for working at home people. You do nothing. Go to work.

Since when are we comparing cve with apple, google, etc…? Guys get your heads out of your @sses! All the ones that want to stay working from home are the lazy ones that have other priorities.. I often wonder how we @ cve have stayed in business for so long, the only answer is FCCL gold mine, if it wasn’t for that we would have bankrupted long time ago as no one ever delivers on commitment.
CVE is loaded with easily manipulated people. Very clear from the nonsense that has been tolerated in the past.
The world has been duped. More people seem to be cluing into this, but many are just doing what they have been told is best. Regular flu season is coming and it will be rebranded as the dreaded x-variant. CVE will send everyone home again.
Wish the clock could be sped up to find out what the real long term effects of the outcomes from decisions will be. Could possibly be nothing happens, could be that suddenly many many job openings.
Or just get vaccinated and get your family vaccinated and you’re fine.
People within the company sacrifised to prevent Cenovus shutting in the wells and going bankrupt. It is your turn.
You can buy yourself an N95 mask if you're conserned about getting sick. Several members of the company have been working this whole time. You had no problem listening to the guidance of the Albertain government when they locked us down. Listen to them now.
In the field there was no break or luxury to stay and work from home. You got your vaccine and have taken initiative to protect yourself. If you are worried, go down to home depot, buy yourself an N95 mask and stop trying to push you virtues to extend you work from home vacation
More and more people on CTrain as I see. Bit scary, we inhale same air, sit close to each other. God bless, stay healthy. Maybe drive to work to avoid CTrain and bus.
