It’s always 2 weeks for every year, plus additional perks, IE compensation based on remaining PTO, plus insurance, etc. Citrix always does right by their people which is why so many come back.

So many people who obviously do not work at Citrix. Layoffs happen at all Corporations - not confirming it is happening at Citrix because I don’t know. I DO know that Citrix is always has an awesome severance package and always treats people with respect and helps them to find new employment. There’s a reason Citrix has a huge employee satisfaction score and a reason MANY former Citrites return after being laid off or leaving for a new company.

2021 layoffs are here...
It's sh---y what the company does to lay you off.
No human being deserves that. You deserve better
Exit on your own terms with dignity and your head held high.
You are a human and no co--------g VP or Director can take that away from you.

Directors, Sr. Directors, and VP's have a different plan for severance. Plus, legal can dole out whatever they want.

After the breach when former CISO and his top crony were walked out, the top crony got an 18 month severance after, what, 5 years here?

This is for US only, it varies from country to country.

Not 5x but 2.5x. I think the text got formatted weirdly but was not intended. And it’s 2.5x of monthly base not yearly.

As an example, if you base salary is 100 per month, you get 250 as the severance.

Hope that helps.

Usually, it is per tenure year a 2-3 weeks salary, plus half of the PTO days being paid out.

You serious about the 5x? That is basically 5 years base salary!
Or do you mean 0.5x

It will probably be 1 week per year of bo----e. That is the best one can hope from in the cheapskate DH era...

  1. 5x of your base (+ optionally 15 days for every year your were employed). But don’t count on it. There is no obligation that the company needs to pay any layoff severance. First it is a at will employment, and the above formula was during pre DH era layoffs. The current situation will demand frugality and cutting down on all expenses. I won’t be surprised if the severance is anything more than 2x for all impacted.
