Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Toys

So what is the deal with stores being told they need to dedicate several thousand square feet to toys?

Quit complaining, Macy's could actually use some younger customers! Some more sales would be nice as well.

Toys are doing very well. There is no longer a national toy retailer.

In years past, they would put toys and games near high traffic center core depts. (cosmetics, shoes, handbags, and jewelry). It didn’t make sense, but I guess that’s where the customers were.

Toys, toys, toys everywhere, scattered all over the store after they were played with and snotted / drooled on, and no one to recover that department or outposts. One big shiete show. Happy Holidays for all of you still working there!

Press-
1) Toys R Us case study? "I don't want to grow up"?
2) Maybe Macy's got a "deal" and just needed some filler?
3) Stuff for kids to play with during Covid-21?
4) "Chucky" got a promotion to Regional Buyer?
5) A new "Must Have"?
6) Toys talk and tell kids to tell their mothers to go shop at Macy's (Folge leisten)?
7) Toys report to Macy's Central Command if Mother does not comply (Was ist das)?
8) Toys have cameras in their eyes and report to AP (Das ist gut)?
9) Toys run around store and ask people to open credits (Mit groben augen)?

Toys R us is gone, why not tap into the toy market. Depending on where your store is if you are in a well to do area then these spoiled children can get their parents to buy them anything as long as it leads to some peace and quiet.

Ugh... I hope Macy's didn't have to go hunting for new vendors and had to resort to toys.

Its just Fluff to fill all the empty space. Toys toys toys everywhere. Strange to see all the empty space in Mens, Womens and random corners stocked with toys.
Racks are thin and merch spaced and pulled forward to look full.
