Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Revoria!

Yep. So the next generation of production presses are here. Revoria PC1120 replaces the Iridesse with AI based ImageEnhance and full auto blending of specialties like pink so those who Adobe Illiterate customers and analysts can finally do something nicer.

Go on, go grovel to Japan and apologize for your barbaric behavior. Try to win back your right to distribute these products from their makers (hint: that ain't you and hasn't been in decades!). Xerox is a distributor. The brains for most of these are in Japan.

I sure hope they do so soon because customers can smell the wind and when the sales rep duck these questions too often they'll start shopping elsewhere.

Thank God I got out in time!

Hahaha, another product released too soon and left to the field to fix. Give it at least 2 years of real world printing by the customers and then maybe, just maybe, it will work as expected. Of course that's after multiple software enhancements, bug fixes, hardware upgrades, and innovator kits.

I can't say about production, but for office getting features or fixes from F is painful compared to in house development.

That product name leaves a lot to be desired, like a lot of X product names

My personal hopes for the good folks left at Xerox is that Fujifilm simply buys out Xerox. That would offer better integration than HP et al. Imagine having access support escalating directly to R&D, access to the far better RIP that is their own (Pink auto blends, pdf print drivers, that GX Print Server is far ahead in many ways).

Selling your competitor's product over your own is somehow a good thing?

Don’t get it twisted…Fuji Still NEEDs Xerox to distribute their stuff. Doesn’t matter if they offer a machine that cures cancer…without a sales force in the US their best products will just sit there on the shelf for years. All their R&D will be a waste of time. A YouTube video will only do so much. Some kind of partnership will still be required

Just wondering if this new product will be available for customers through North America xerox direct or agent channels? Probably not , due to the severing of the relationship of Fuji from xerox corp.

Actually I was a color consultant in Canada and I left to rejoin the software world at a startup. Features are looking good in there. Auto fifth blend? That is much needed!

Oh look, it's the same lame competitive salesman again on here. Man, you have A LOT of time on your hands posting on this board. Probably because you're still the same mediocre salesman that got laid off from Xerox and you're still crying like a little baby every night because of it.
