Any bets on how many will get laid off on Monday 8/2? My bet is on SgAS filing bankruptcy on Monday.

HR have been fighting a losing battle for years and many have left because of that.
Also there are very few people left of the recruitment team and none in the UK.

That is why effort underway to change. That is why HR is reviewing companies like google and Facebook. I am getting this information from my manager. There is at least effort to change, I am told. I did not hear how long review will take.

Here are the facts.. MRR started going down in 2009. This is not new and has only accelerated downward over time. The org is at the point where cutting people resources is not enough to scale lower with the lose of revenue and profitability. The next step is dissolving assets - data centers, office locations, benefits, etc.

It's both cute and sad that you believe HR is around for OUR benefit - they exist to protect the company, and that's all. That's universal, not SGAS-specific.

I agree amigo. Same thing I heard from my manager. Outline/business plan from Alfred. He also mention HR is reviewing benefits and culture of google and Facebook and see how to apply for us. This way HR make sure we do not have toxic work environment and become more modern like those companies. That’s all I hear for now.

There's no real limit to how many times a company can file... but the question is how many times will the customers stick around for it. Some customers jump ship at the mere mention of it, the very first time. Others who stayed put through the first one may have different ideas if a second one comes along.

Growth strategy based on an outline bin ford drafted before he left. So no way I’m going to be pessimistic. Too much negativity going on here but no way will I fall for it. I invested lots of years in SgAS. We’re pioneers in DR, that’s our ace in the ho-e.
