At first I was really bothered by people who pretend to be busy all day while I work hard, trying to help customers, trying to my keep my job, etc. Now I'm just trying to look busy. Why?
Because it's not worth the effort at Lowe's. Here, if you work hard it seems that all you can get in return is criticism and even more work.

This is what I do to make working at Lowe's better.... I get a shopping cart and push it around like Im down stocking. Only way I help customers if and when they find me. Lowe's is hiring but cutting hours so you still have to cover two or three departments. It's not worth the stress, Just look busy. Push your shopping cart and look up at top stock and wait to clock out
Was with company for 25.5 years. Left when covid hit in Feb. 2020. 401 was $480k when I left, now $615k. I make more now that I have the time too concentrate on moving the money around. I wish everyone only the best that’s still there. Sounds like changes have really hit Lowe’s.
We got a few management like that here. The rest are Walmart or home depot grabs that aren't even willing to learn sh-t.
I know for a fact a-s kissers don't do anything at work and even get promoted to dept supervisors and even do less then.
It is so backwards at Lowe's.
That's why I quit 3 months ago and couldn't be happier
