Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Ryder Partnership

Partnering with Ryder could be a great thing, but aiming for a 10 day cycle time still seems a bit high? Happy the company is tackling supply chain issues!

Has anyone realized the original commitment for distribution center was 4 not 2?

I love the big words and small minds at BBB. Ryder focuses on rentals similar to Penske with free lance drivers. Beginning of end for you dummies.

This is just us finally getting into 3PL. We had to significantly reduce assortment and shift to exclusive brands first before this could happen. Overall lead time will decrease, but may increase for a few items where the vendors used to get them out quickly via FedEx. Should be good overall, but depends on how well Ryder executes the transition to minimize OOS in the stores.
