The only people who grumble on here are former employees laid off over the past 5 years. Everyone still here is happy, approves of the company’s direction and leadership, and enjoys what they do for a living. Let go of the anger people.

Decided to look this site up. I took severance a little over 5 years ago. Was bitter at the time.
I look back now and hope that all who post here realize how lucky they are to have a job or have worked for an employer like COP.
Sure there are better employers out there, better bosses. In the end though, it is what YOU make of the job. Don't count on someone else to fix your problems.
And yes. Leaving COP was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was told to go wash trucks and have their oil changed the last week I was at COP. I was a staff engineer. I laughed all the way to the bank knowing I wouldn't have to put up with this much longer.
If COP is that bad, leave. If not, stay. You have no one to blame but yourself. And yes. DJ Summers is still the sexiest Engineer of the bunch.
Reporting safety issues, especially inconvenient office based issues, are what will really blacklist you.
“Terminated for reporting SPIRIT issues?” Right, and Qanon is real.
Do not feed trolls
So OP, are you saying that yourself and everyone else is gruntled?
Maybe you should seek therapy to get the help that you obviously need.
Yes, discrimination is very inexpensive in Canada and terminating someone who had a health crisis rather than supporting them was Leadership’s preferred action during Covid when no one was in the office. Good not to be suffering the fools any longer, but it still feels unfinished.
What are you smoking? Not even an HR rep would believe the original statement.
I was happy to be laid-off. Record low interest rates improved the lump-sum pension payout immensely. It’s sad that newer employees no longer get a pension. My biggest regret though was that there was no sense of accomplishment after working at COP for a very long time. I just wanted out. What once was, is no more.
People were laid off or terminated by doing the right thing and reporting SPIRIT related issues. SPIRIT is synonymous with bull s h it at COP. OP is obviously a newbie or HR worm.
Only 529 down votes? Someone really stirred the hornet nest.
Discrimination? But, but, but SPIRIT values. How can this be?
I made it through layoff after layoff. I was terminated for defending myself against mental-health discrimination. There is no forgiving that.
OP, thanks for speaking for “everybody”. I didn’t realize we all think exactly alike.
With arrogance like that you almost certainly are a manager or a hipot destined to be a manager.
Keep up the great work!
Edit to post below…-336 downvotes. I can’t count very good, that’s why I work at COP.
I’m a current employee and somewhat disgruntled. However, this thread and it’s -366 downvotes made me LOL.
thanks for your input RL!
This company has a direction? Oh, my bad. I didn't realize "stagnant" was considered a direction.
Hahahahhaaaaaa!!! OP made my day with that pathetic post. Hey num9nuts, this is a LAYOFF site. You know, where people discuss getting laid off by a company that right up until that minute told them how cherished and valued they are. Of course you know that, being in HR or PR. Or whatever your useless existence is.
LMAO. Ok, HR maggot. Go back to doing your job and laying off people, as you stay hired.
